Barnard Streets Receive Much Needed Attention

200 Block of Smith Street...Looking Good!

During the last part of August and the first week of September, the streets in Barnard have been receiving some much needed attention.  With an annual budget that is comparable to a single family income, it can be difficult to keep everything up.  However, with some purchased millings and some donated asphalt from the state when 284 was repaved, the city has made a little headway on repairing deteriorated streets.

Earlier in the summer, Main Street south of Ballard Avenue received some attention.  Recently, the 200 and 400 blocks of Smith Street received some patching.  However, there is still a ways to go.
