Barnard had its first snow starting Monday this week and continuing until late Tuesday. These pictures were taken today after two days of temperatures in the low 40's (F). Just imagine what it was like before the melt started.

Events at the First Baptist Church of Barnard
The First Baptist Church will be having a Caroling party at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21. Anyone who would like to come and "sing along" is invited to join us. Cookies and hot chocolate will be furnished after we get back to the church.
The First Baptist Church will be having their yearly Christmas Program during the Sunday morning service on Christmas December 25. There will be lots of music during the services as we once again celebrate the story birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Everyone is invited to come join us.

Barnard Lions Club Pancake Feed
The Barnard Lions Club had its Pancake Feed on Saturday. Many people attended throughout the day and several won prizes in the raffles. Santa Claus even found time to make an appearance here in Barnard. Here are some photos taken by Jan and Amber Dowlin for you to enjoy.

Barnard Lions Club Pancake Feed December 17, 2011
The Lions Club pancake feed is December 17th at the Barnard Community Center. It will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Santa Claus flying in at about 1:30 p.m. There will be raffles throughout the day so come on in for a great time!
